I met Addie while living in England. We lived in the same neighborhood not far from a military base. I was so happy for her when she told me she got engaged and casually mentioned that I used to shoot weddings before moving there and becoming a full time mom. I was thrilled when she decided to hire me. Addie is such a fun person to be around and I knew her wedding would be a blast. We moved back to the U.S. in the fall and I couldn’t wait for December. This was my first time shooting at Rosemont Manor and I thought the property was really nice, especially at this time of the year when they had it decorated for Christmas. Addie & Ahbiya’s day started with a Vietnamese Tea Ceremony and they both wore traditional outfits. This was a small ceremony with only their families in attendance. The rest of their guests arrived later in the afternoon for the wedding ceremony and reception. Addie & Ahbiya changed outfits and did a “first look”, which I always love for couples to do so they can get more photos together. They had a close friend officiate their ceremony which was short and sweet followed by dinner, dancing and the classic sparkler exit. I had such a wonderful time capturing their day and it felt so great being behind the camera at a wedding again. Congratulations to the happy couple!
